Our mission is to rehabilitate Barker Park in order to make it a functional
and enjoyable urban park for residents and visitors of downtown Troy,
NY. Through the use charitable donations and city involvement, we are working
towards a goal that will add yet another beautiful landmark to the
downtown area.
Our board is
comprised of local citizens and business owners, all of whom have
a vested interest in Barker Park's potential.
We are a not-for-profit organization, and thus depend solely on grants and donations to further our progress. We have the invaluable benefit of
having a board that possesses such skills as: urban architecture, landscape architecture, marketing, accounting, public relations and management.
